The club were relegated to Serie B the following season as a punishment for their role in the Calciopoli scandal.

It was only a very short stay in Serie B as Juventus, who wore this classic black and white home shirt manufactured by Nike, won promotion straight back to the top flight with Alessandro Del Piero leading the scoring charts.
