The story of Manchester United making it to the semi-final of the 1966 European Cup is one of tremendous spirit and courage.

Partizan were the Busby Babes' final opponent before the Munich air disaster in 1958 and returning to the Partizan Arena just eight years later was a reminder to Sir Matt Busby and everybody associated with Manchester United of the journey the club had been on since that tragedy.

United arrived on the back of their best performance since the days of the Busby Babes when a George Best-inspired team beat Benfica 5-1 in Portugal.

Although Man Utd were well off their best on the night during a 2-0 loss, this matchday programme from Partizan Stadium remains a cracking piece of Manchester United memorabilia.
